These are some recent snapshots from my journeys July of 2012.  We have been everywhere in two weeks!  Now settling-in for a bit of calm and reflection.  I am determined to prove that people can establish routines and comforts and order, and generally be structured and balanced in nearly any circumstances!  I am fortunate because I know how LOVED I am.  This is easy to forget.  It is easy to think about who WE love and who or what WE serve or do or want.  But what about remembrance of WHO and WHAT loves us?  Someone out there loves you...right now.  In fact...maybe more than 10 people truly adore you right now and you may forget that from time to time.  The fact is, we are all connected to each other.  But we tend to see ourselves as connected to those we are in the closest proximity to rather than recognizing that even distance and absence...or death...cannot separate people.

If you are not feeling it right now, I want to give you hope in the fact that you really can!  You CAN feel the bond of closeness to people who are not there.  And it works in reverse too.  You can disconnect from negativity that is close by you in proximity and actually eliminate it completely!  Just because you have a spouse or child who has some bad habits that are dragging you down, does not mean you have to accept it.  Maybe it is going to be very hard work to overcome it but with effort, it can be done.  First things first, after recognizing the patterns of negative behavior around you in other people...you must CHOOSE your response or your pro-active course of action to prevent it from affecting you.  It will not work every time with every person but you can manage more than half of the chaotic disempowering situations that may occur.  If you believe this than you are almost there already.

I speak from experience.  A friend told me that they learned over the years that they need to set the standard for how people will treat them.  Otherwise, anything and any circumstance can and will arise!  When this becomes the norm, we have given ourselves over to allowing the LoA to work at whim rather than to our best interest or in general in a way that will protect and serve us and others.  It is so important that every person realize how negative and critical thinking is a poison that seeps and seeps and gets into everything!  It starts with some harmless gossip about another person and then you attract more people into your life who are that way.  What YOU are, others will be!  So as Ghandi said..."Be the change you wish to see in the world"... I think I will leave you with that thought for tonight!
